An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Manager to join a leading Manufacturing business based near Selby, North Yorkshire. Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing are exclusively partnering with this business to find a Manufacturing Manager who will be involved with managing a team of staff and driving improvements across Production, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering & Continuous Improvement activities. The business are looking for an individual that they can mould and develop into more senior roles in the future.
This role will report into the Operations Director and the role will take responsibility for hitting the key production KPI's such as On Time delivery rate, labour hours and productivity, as well as the man-management of staff. You will then work with the Group Continuous Improvement Manager to deliver the strategic improvement projects across the site and work with the team on the shop floor to get their buy-in. The role will be given a lot of autonomy to identify and implement changes and to run the production facility like it is your own. There are opportunities on site to improve the process, supply chain and s.o.p's to save costs and improve efficiencies. You will work closely with all stakeholders in the business and help instil a culture of continuous improvement on site.
Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing would be interested in talking to candidates with the following skills & experience:
*Strong Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing knowledge and experience
*Management of Production staff
*Ability to get the buy-in of people on site to implement improvements
