This is a high-profile role that has a significant impact on our growth ambitions. We’re looking for an exceptional leader who can shape and evolve our digital experience to world-class, across all our digital touchpoints (web, apps). Leading the digital experience team and influencing the wider organisation to support the growth ambition. Building and executing best-in-class design, UX, and CRO activity to create a best-in-class shopping experience. You will lead, coach, and develop a talented team of UX, UI, design, and CRO specialists.Main Responsibilities
To lead, own, develop and execute a best-in-class digital experience strategy across all digital touchpoints
To put the customer first, understand their shopping missions, and build a leading experience around them
To define and implement a UX/UI and CRO methodology to improve the shopper experience, drive conversion and add to basket
To deliver brand identity and vision across all digital touchpoints and digital communications
Take ownership of delivering the key customer experience metrics across the shopping missions and creating actions to improve these.
To lead the creative asset creation (digital design, html, CRO) across web, app, email, social and digital media
To partner with the digital trading team to implement CRO campaigns, gain insight and optimise journeys
To partner with the digital technology and change team to test new features/enhancements in order to prioritise the backlog
To structure the website (IA) and navigation that helps customers find the product, content, and services they are looking for.
To create a customer testing program to drive decision making, prioritisation, and KPI improvement
Input into the ongoing development of new experiences, features and services and leading business readiness of upcoming releases
Own and lead the strategy for our digital experience, design, and CRO technology
Establish a data-driven approach to optimisation and inform future activity weekly and ad-hoc sales reporting
Create a clear quarterly digital trading roadmap that helps us achieve our goals
Use your deep experience to coach and up-skill your people, building a highly motivated, customer-focused team.
Develop KPIs and create mechanisms to analyse activity and performance
Experienced Design, UX, and CRO expert that has overseen the creation and implementation of these strategies.
Expertise in UX/CRO methodology, techniques, and test & learn approaches
Expertise in creating seamless experiences across web and apps
Excellent creative and commercial acumen - highly analytical and able to very quickly derive insight from the channel and commercial data
To build, coach, and lead a team of specialists
Comfortable reporting into the senior leadership team and building strong relationships with other senior leaders
Good judgment and confident decision-maker
Strong communicator; selling an idea, internally and externally
Resilient and organised
