£14.88ph (equivalent to £32,500 per annum)

Rotating days and nights – circa 42 hrs per week

6:45 am/pm till 7 am/pm

Prince are currently working with a well-established manufacturing business in the Stafford area who are looking to take on some temporary on-going staff to help assist with the social distancing measures in place due to COVID-19. You will be on the production floor, marshalling and implementing health and safety procedures and ensuring the business are abiding by all government regulations.

The Health and Safety Marshal will be responsible for:

• Monitoring and auditing adherence to social distancing
• Being present on the production floor and engaging in health and safety talks with colleagues
• Track and record any issues of non-compliance
• Carry out risk assessments
• Support with the creation and delivery of HSE and Covid communications
• Monitor Covid related PPE and sanitisation equipment
• Continuously update knowledge on Government guidance and procedures
• Assisting the HSE Manager with any general health and safety tasks and administration

Skills and Experience

• Must have previous experience in a manufacturing / production environment
• Must have working knowledge of health and safety
• Must have previous experience leading a team of people or as a supervisor
• Have good knowledge of Covid employer regulations
• Be able to act as a role model
• Have excellent written and verbal communication
• Being able to challenge in a constructive and polite manner
