The Company: Head of Sales & Marketing

Our client is a leading provider of software and hardware to the education market, predominately to schools and academy trusts. The business has grown over recent years, delivering simple to complex solutions for their clients. They are looking to bring onboard a Head of Sales & Marketing in a strategic and hands-on role for the organisation.

The Role: Head of Sales & Marketing

You will be the most senior commercial person within the organisation and will be responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing. The role will involve managing a small sales team, setting strategic direction, whilst being involved in sales on a day-to-day basis. You will report directly into the Board of Directors, who are keen to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities: Head of Sales & Marketing

• Oversee and monitor the performance of the sales team, including their training and development
• Take the lead on sales with potential large and key clients with visits to client sites
• Produce presentations and reports for senior management on performance and sales forecasts

Experience Required: Head of Sales & Marketing

• Track record of managing and developing a sales team
• Experience in tendering for, and management of, contracts and clients within the education sector
• Proven track record in solution sales
• Ability to work autonomously within a B2B environment
