We are an ambitious and well-established housing group with deep roots in our three heartland areas of Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington.

One of the largest landlords in the North West, we have 1,500 staff, manage more than 37,000 homes, support around 64,000 customers and invest at least £5m a year into local communities and life changing causes.

A social organisation with a commercial focus generating income to drive our activities and deliver lasting change, Torus is at once landlord, property developer, commercial contractor and social entrepreneur.

Our commercial arm, HMS, has established an enviable reputation as an award-winning building and maintenance contractor for housing, health and education. Moreover, 100% of the profits generated by HMS are invested directly to fund initiatives that make a positive difference to our communities and the lives of the people who live in them.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with the relevant skills and experience to work as part of our Arboricultural team within our in-house Green Space Service. You will be supporting the arboricultural team in delivering excellent quality services across the Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington area, working to the highest industry standards of both safety and quality.

This is an ideal role for climbers with some experience to further their skills and responsibilities. You will hold all relevant NTPC units and be enthusiastic about improving the quality and competence of your climbing and aerial tree surgery skills. Applicants should have attained Arboricultural units CS30, CS31, CS38 and CS39 as a minimum.

The ideal candidate will have experience of arboricultural operations and tree care including the use of chainsaws, stump grinders and brushwood chippers and will be comfortable working at heights. You will be highly motivated and eager to develop your skills and knowledge of the industry in a supportive working environment. The candidate with the necessary skills, drive and passion can look forward to increasing their arboricultural competencies through undertaking internal and external courses and qualifications, supported by a structured training programme.

If you are an excellent team player with a positive and passionate style of communication and a full UK driving license we would like to hear from you.
