Experian Consumer Services (ECS) is the team behind your Experian Free Credit Score and the advanced CreditExpert product . The ECS Technology team work as part of an Agile business that has been through a complete technical and organisational transformation.

Now working as part of cross functional delivery teams that include Product Owners, Developers, Designers and Quality Assurance specialists amongst others, we are deploying new versions of our applications multiple times per day. We're using modern technologies such as React.js and more than 100 microservices that combine to form a cloud native platform we are proud of, and that our customers love.

Your role
We're looking for a Graduate Software Developer who will work across different teams within ECS. In this role you'll understand how to build for the web using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, as well as writing backend code in either C# or Java, and most importantly you will be excited to try new technologies and different ways of working.

Alongside your work is a supportive learning and development programme designed to further enhance your technical and professional skills and regularly meet with your peers to share experiences. You'll also receive a Mentor to assist you in developing and progressing your career goals with Experian, looking at your journey for the next 3 years and beyond.

Key Skills and Abilities

You'll have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or other technical degree
  • An interest in software development
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage your own work schedule to meet business priorities
  • Very strong and clear communication skills
  • Flexibility and strong collaboration skills gained through working in teams
