As Financial Controller you will oversee all the financial aspects of the business, from the hotels profit & loss account, payroll, forecasting, stock management, supplier payments to the control of all financial processes within the unit. You will work very closely with the heads of departments developing their knowledge, understanding and practices of all budget requirements to meet set deadlines.
You will provide the hotel management team and Interstate Hotels & Resorts UK, timely financial information to facilitate effective decision making, whilst working alongside the General Manager of the hotel to deliver business objectives and financial targets.
Experience working with hotel finance systems and processes, is essential, along with a good understanding of excel and word. As part of your responsibilities you will also be required to present the units financial performance on a monthly basis to the senior team within the company.
