To have maximum impact, you will work alongside our dedicated team to support the development and maintenance of our automated documents, which aim to improve the working lives of over 4,000 lawyers, whilst delivering quality and consistency for our clients.

You will work closely with the Document Automation Manager to automate the international business pipeline, increasing the volume of automated documents using the firm's DocAuto tools.

  • Creating, maintaining and updating automated products and solutions using Contract Express, HighQ (or similar tools).
  • Testing automated documents, correcting errors and recording changes.
  • Provide training to users around the business on how to automate documents using the DocAuto tool.
  • Provide training to lawyers on how to mark-up a document for automation and provide advice on the best practice for document automation.
  • Identify opportunities where automation can assist our clients.
  • Monitoring the operation of the service, helping operational IT in the event of any problems.
  • Running regular reports on the use of the service and creating management information as required


  • Strong academics, with a preference for an A Level (or equivalent) in Mathematics;
  • Demonstrable technical proficiency in using Contract Express is desired but not essential;
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Word skills; good Excel skills;
  • Experience of working in a legal environment is an advantage, but not essential;
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Excellence organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities, working to sometimes conflicting timescales in a fast-paced and challenging environment;
  • The ability to build trust and rapport to develop effective business relationships, often with senior stakeholders in the business.
