Conversion Rate Optimisation Manager

With over fifty years of experience, we are the largest independent home appliance and spare parts distribution organisation within the UK working with a number of household brands including Whirlpool, Hotpoint, Hoover and Bosch to name a few!

We’re seeking a highly motivated CRO Manager to kick start a CRO team at CDSL and improve the UX/Customer Journey across our websites. This role will combine elements of data-driven testing and campaign optimisation through the full sales and marketing funnel. This is a great opportunity for someone who has high career aspirations as it is a chance to showcase the results of an effective CRO campaign and help grow an in-house CRO team.

The role will involve:

  • Managing end-to-end optimisation testing process, including prioritisation, requirements gathering, test implementation, measurement, and next-step recommendations
  • Conducting Quantitative and Qualitative analysis
  • Planning and owning an ongoing test roadmap to optimise onsite user journeys
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a testing road map
  • Creating and track goal flows to identify pain points in the user journey
  • Identifying opportunities for A/B/MVT testing
  • Creating and developing tests using CRO tools
  • Optimising conversion funnel through site and landing pages across multiple channels and tools
  • Managing and guide UX/UI Designer to produce designs for testing
  • Working closely with creative/content team to drive new landing page tests and campaigns
  • Working closely with the Paid Media team to improve ROI
  • Research industry leading market trends for future campaigns

As CRO Manager we need you to have:

  • Proven ability of successful CRO campaigns showing an increase in Conversion Rate/Revenue and AOV
  • Strong hypothesis-based tester with A/B and MVT optimisation experience
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for problem-solving
  • Attention to detail and highly organised is a must
  • Experience building and launching tests using CRO tools and platforms (VWO, Optimizely, Google Optimise etc.)
  • Excellent Analytical and Reporting Skills (using Google Analytics/Excel/CRO Tools)
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS (using CRO tools to create tests/experiences)
  • Excellent Knowledge of UX principles
  • Excellent Excel Skills to analyse data
  • Minimum 5 years CRO/UX experience
