The Detail:

As Content Manager, you will work as an integral member of the SEO team helping to develop content strategies for a range of clients designed to meet their objectives around traffic, engagement, coverage and links.

The Role:

  • Work with the SEO team to develop content strategies for a range of clients designed to meet their objectives around traffic, engagement, coverage and links.
  • Run ideation & content sessions with the content, SEO & digital PR teams to generate ideas with solid hooks/angles for press – as well as ensuring ideas are feasible, within budget and brand safe.
  • Develop content calendars and plan distribution with the digital PR team.
  • Manage the production and final checks of content from the team.
  • Review & optimise processes within the content team to ensure the team is working efficiently.
  • Work with your team to improve processes and documentation where possible, ensuring work is always focused on the right tasks at the right time.
  • Use your experience to ensure team members are supported within their roles.
  • Acting as a mentor to team members and ensure any training needs are recorded and met.
  • Stay up to date with any industry changes and lead knowledge sharing sessions within your team.


  • Excellent working knowledge of SEO including elements of technical SEO, on page optimisation and link building/analysis.
  • Great interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with both clients and internal stakeholders as well as mentor and support staff.
  • Ability to brief other teams effectively, primarily digital PR & any external providers.
  • Diligence in meeting agreed timescales & providing approved deliverables.
  • A desire and willingness to get the job done to the highest levels.
  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritise tasks based on client demands.
