Experian are seeking a Citrix Technical Lead who will be responsible for providing technical solution guidance, with proven experience in the architecture and delivery of mission critical End User Compute environments.

As a Technical Lead you will be expected to be abreast of, or ahead of, industry best practices, as well as remaining current with emerging technologies. A Technical Lead's primary responsibility is to gather requirements and produce plans and solutions of a sustainable high quality that meets the business requirements in order to continue to drive great customer outcomes. You may be asked to architect solutions on a Global scale. This role will be responsible for supporting the Product Owner in ensuring services are delivered to specification and on time, working with the project team to ensure standards are adhered to. In addition, they will create and maintain technical roadmaps and provide technical leadership across the engineering staff.

Operationally Responsible for the following
• Research of automated self service delivery opportunities, documenting, ensuring readiness for handover to Automation Development team when applicable.
• Ensure that any automated deliveries are tested prior to go-live, ensuring KB articles published on Confluence, and communicated to Citrix support team and key stakeholders.
• Serve as Technical Team Lead for Citrix Support Team for any major platform issues.
• Oversee a Citrix environment in multiple datacenters running on ESXi VMware hypervisors servicing over 2000 users.
• Maintains Citrix & AD group policies, ensuring platform security in accordance with Global security standards.
• Build Visio documents detailing each component of the Citrix infrastructure and how it connects to every other system for Citrix Support Teams.

This role will be responsible for the following:
• Conducting assessments of end-user-computing environments.
• Designing and deployment of Citrix proof of concepts.
• Creating and maintain technical roadmap.
• Designing automated VB and PowerShell scripts for CVAD RDS/VDI Server buildouts.
• Implementing Microsoft, Citrix and VMware solutions, with focus on Virtualization using VMware ESX/vSphere and Citrix products (XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler, Director, Profile Management, StoreFront, Web Interface, Provisioning Services etc.)
• Designing and implementing the production and disaster recovery infrastructures.
• Designing, installing, configuring and troubleshooting Citrix NetScaler devices in the support of NetScaler Gateway, Clientless VPN and SSLVPN implementations.
• Technical knowledge of application sequencing using Microsoft Application Virtualization (APP-V).
• Basic database configuration for Citrix databases with SQL Server.
• Interfacing with end-users and application testers to troubleshoot and debug application configuration and deployment issues.
• Working with customers and project managers, identifies deliverables and delivers milestones and checkpoints, organized and maintained the project tasks.

Essential Knowledge, skills and Experience:
• Experience in planning and deploying large scale Citrix projects on Private/Public Cloud that have delivered real end-to-end solutions for clients and internal users.
• Expert knowledge of Citrix technologies including, XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler, Director, Profile Management, StoreFront, Web Interface, Provisioning Services.
• Technical knowledge of application sequencing using Microsoft Application Virtualization (APP-V).
• Expert knowledge of the VMware product set and use.
• Experience in Agile methodologies, and the SCRUM framework
• Good understanding of the DevOps tools such as Jira and Confluence for workload planning, tracking & documentation
• Excellent team worker, able to work collaboratively as part of an innovative and agile team, whilst being able to manage personal workloads to meet agreed deadlines
• Stakeholder management skills essential to delivering the right solution

Essential Qualifications:
• Certified Citrix Certified Administrator, CCNA, MCP, MCSE and ITIL
• Degree in Computer Science or similar degree or a strong background within a similar role
