Description

  • Manage a proficient team of 5 who provide payroll services & support to all stakeholders

  • Develop and implement timetables & processes that deliver effective payroll services in line with all compliance and regulatory requirements, across all 8 payrolls to all employees, volunteers, pensioners & other clients of the payroll department

  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery across all 8 payrolls with suitable and robust controls

  • Produce the monthly deductions for payments to the relevant recipient's in a timely and accurate manner

  • Prepare the monthly & annual tax returns and produce any associated calculations

  • Develop trusted relationships with relevant key stakeholders

  • Produce a breadth of reporting and KPIs for payroll services for the Senior Management Team

  • Continually improve processes and meet the changing needs of the Charity in terms of the payroll service requirements

  • This role is looking for someone who can lead and develop a team so will need to demonstrate these skills

  • You will need to be able to demonstrate your work on previous large Payrolls in both the UK and Overseas

  • Payroll qualifications - CIPP

  • Experience of working with sophisticated accounting software

  • Change management experience

£45,000 - £50,000 + a solid benefits package
