Business Development Manager – Heavy Plant Hire

Location: Central Belt & Borders Region Scotland – home based

Salary: c£30,000 to £35,000 plus car/car allowance, bonus & pension

Role – Business Development Manager – Heavy Plant Hire:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a long established and growing independent plant hire business that supply heavy plant and specialist equipment across a multi site depot network.

An opportunity has arisen for a proven Business Development Manager to cover the Central Belt & Borders region of Scotland.

This is an exciting and challenging role, looking to grow and develop their existing account portfolio and develop new customers across the region.

The role will have a dual reporting line into the Managing Director and local Depot Manager and will provide future development opportunities.

Candidate – Business Development Manager – Heavy Plant Hire:

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following:

• 4 year’s sales experience
• Experience in the plant hire or general construction industry
• Strong relationship building & management skills
• Self-motivation
• Previous experience of working in an autonomous role
• Based in the Central Belt of Scotland
• Full drivers licence
