About the Role

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new opportunities and selling Compusoft solutions into target accounts within the Furniture vertical. This includes managing the strategic customer acquisition process from lead to close, actively conducting  account reviews and developing opportunities within existing accounts.

The Business Development Manager ultimately helps us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.


Key Position Responsibilities:

  • Exceed monthly / quarterly targets by driving new opportunities and successfully selling Compusoft solutions into strategic accounts within the Furniture vertical.
  • Manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, while expanding existing accounts.
  • Conduct strategic reviews with customers to identify new opportunities and support their growth plans.
  • Pipeline development through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns and market sector knowledge / networking.
  • Form strong relationships with various industry stake holders including suppliers, manufacturers and buying groups.
  • Drive coordination amongst groups such as Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, Partners etc. to deliver successful account strategy execution in your market.
  • Successfully interacts at C-level and helps strategically navigate customers’ organisations.
  • Daily update of the system with accurate customer and pipeline data.
  • Accurate monthly forecasting and revenue delivery.


Required experience and qualifications:

  • Successful previous experience in strategic selling roles or key account management.
  • Must have demonstratable history of new business sales, with the ability to prove consistent delivery against targets.
  • Must have recent and successful experience in the software industry (Cloud and Furniture experience would be a plus).
  • Proven track record of sales over achievement.
