Business Administration Apprentice NVQ level  3 – Rothwell (Leeds)

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join the AFI Group, one of the UK’s largest Powered Access Hire companies, and start on the path to a successful and rewarding career within our specialist ‘operated’ division (Wilson Access).

We will provide the successful applicant with a structured programme of training, leading to valuable NVQ qualifications, along with many other practical skills.

Salary is based on the National Apprenticeship rate - £4.30 / hr + benefits (for the first 12 months, after which the rate is dependent on age).

The Role and Ideal Candidate:

  • Work towards NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration
  • Valuable practical experience working on a busy Hire Desk, hiring out our range of specialist access equipment.
  • You will gain experience in performing general office duties such as customer service, answering the phone, raising hire contracts, corresponding via email, purchasing etc.
  • You will also be given job specific training to become a Hire Desk Controller, a recognised career path with excellent progression prospects
  •  
  • You will be outgoing and have excellent communication skills
  • You will need to demonstrate enthusiasm for the role
  • You must be a team player and take instruction well
  • You must have a good telephone manner and computer skills
