About The Role
As Assistant Retail Manager you help manage service standards across our retail service areas, including bars, merchandise, catering outlets, kiosk, programmes, ice cream and mobile tray sales. You remit will be to help ensure sales are maximised and the customer experience is always of the highest standard. You will set a positive example and work to ensure teams are fully trained and motivated to provide a welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient service as well as achieve sales targets. You will also support all health & safety procedures and standards, making certain we comply with regulations and legislation. You will also operate in all retail areas, and provide supervisory cover ‘on the floor’ as and when required, in line with business needs.
You must have experience of working in a high quality venue, such as a retail outlet, hotel or café.
Your technical abilities will be complemented by a track record of helping to manage customer service teams in a fast-paced environment. You will be comfortable handling customer queries and also possess good communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to think on your feet and a commitment to service excellence.
This role requires a clear DBS check.
