Anglian Water has created a new deliver enterprise - the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA). The projects purpose is to 'Make the East of England resilient to the effects of drought'. Achieving our purpose will ensure the security of water supply for future generations, over decades to come.
By delivering a smart and resilient transfer system through the delivery of Pipelines, Pumping Stations and associated structures, we will be capable of delivering large scale strategic assets and complex systems to our current asset base by ensuring that these are digitally enabled.
Essential to contributing to our ambitious and exciting ambitions is our ability to gather, manage and analyse information of our region’s geography to ensure we make innovative and smart decisions. With this in mind, we are looking for a Agricultural Liaison Officer.
This role is for our Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) with Anglian Water, based in Peterborough.

What will you be doing as our new Agricultural Liaison Officer (ALO)
As our Agricultural Liaison Officer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of the SPA programme. Reporting into Site Agents and construction Managers you will be liaising with our third-party stakeholders such as landowners, farmers and the Environment Agency. Your role will be essential in communicating project and construction requirements to the landowners and feeding back landowner information to the project team whilst sharing your knowledge and experience in all operations relating to soil management and drainage.

You will be an engaging individual with extensive experience in drainage design and installation together with good soil management expertise in challenging terrain and conditions. Your enthusiasm and can-do attitude will encourage innovation and inspire people to get the job done proven by your ability to advise project team and third-party drainage designers.
Your passion for this role though will be evident in your excellent communication skills and your ability to build strong relationships with the project teams and external stakeholders.
