Account Manager – Up to£40k Basic + Uncapped OTE of £60k (Including Base Salary) + Benefits including: 25 days paid holiday, pension scheme, private healthcare, life assurance and subsidized gym membership.

They are now the service of choice for economic and investment research by economists, analysts, investors, corporations, and universities around the world and are currently looking to recruit for an Account Manager to join their London based Sales team.

 

About the role of Account Manager

We are looking to recruit for an Account Manager to join a dynamic and growing sales team in Central London to manage, grow and develop existing relationships with clients inthe UK and Western Europe.

As an Account Manager you will:

  • Be responsible for managing, growing and developing an existing portfolio of accounts consisting of Asset Management Firms, Banks, Government Agencies and Academic Institutions worth around £750k per annum
  • Build mutually beneficial, value-based relationships with existing clients to maximize revenue yield and renewal likelihood
  • Present our client’s online solution via a consultative sales approach to understand needs and requirements in clients in order to secure growth and upsell opportunities
  • Achieve and exceed monthly / quarterly sales revenue targets
  • Negotiate renewal subscriptions with uplift with existing clients (existing renewal rate is 104% so you will be coming into a very successful team who are exceeding target!)

 

There is fantastic scope for growth and earning potential and the role would suit an ambitious and hungry Account Manager who enjoys networking / growing existing accounts and working autonomously.

We very much see this role progressing into a Senior / Key Account Manager where you will be managing high spending accounts.

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record in Account Management and Business Development with experience of the full account management process from renewals to driving new business growth including cross selling and upselling within existing accounts
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
  • Track record of selling business information ideallyFinancial Information or Economic Data
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Degree education and an interest in Economics
