World Smile Day

Celebrate World Smile Day with your work mates

Sinead Bunting, European Consumer Marketing Director at Monster.co.uk

Our recent poll found that receiving praise (19%) and having good work mates (19%) are the reasons most likely to make employees smile in the office.

Notably, flexible working hours (15%) was more likely to make people smile compared to a pay rise (12%). A supportive mentor is also considered a worthy asset for employees, with one in six (16%) believing it has a big impact on how much they smile at work.

It’s well known that smiling can help reduce stress and increase energy levels so we’re encouraging everyone to surprise their colleagues with random acts of kindness to bring some cheer to your workforce.

To get the ball rolling – here’s a snap of Monster spreading some smiles at a Monster Confidence event in Birmingham
